They need to be mounted using the attached screws. Don’t rely on the stick on backing.
They work quite well. Grandma even has to remember to use them to get to the cleaning supplies and rat poison cupboard. Grandpa feels much safer knowing that the rat poison is hard to reach by Grandma. They were very easy to put on, but don’t stick well with the peel off backing. The enclosed screws were easy to use and make them very secure. I did the entire kitchen in about an hour. I didn’t have to use the small, enclosed contact plates because the wooden cabinet frame serves the same purpose. To mount, I peeled off the sticky to attach the latches in the right spot, drilled small starter holes, then used an electric drill on the screws. The parts are pre-cast with screw holes. Easy project. Grand-daughter is safe.

Works well, better products out there.
Decent, if not screwed down tight enough, they eventually slide down on the screws and don’t work. Sometimes they also flip UP and feel like they will break when correcting it.

These are not very good. When you have them installed, your cabinet doors and drawers sit just a little open all the time and you can never fully close them. :/Also the adhesive is not super strong and we had a few just pop off. So I guess not super safe. But the ones that stuck on good have continued to do so.

These are a must have for littles when they start getting into cabinets! Installed these super quickly and easily. These offer protection for your little ones to keep them out of your drawers and cabinets. The latch is semi thick as well which can prevent babies smashing fingers as well. These are durable plastic so they are easy to clean by a quick wipe down.

This product design is solid and easy to install. I opted to just apply the locks with the adhesive backing. Only 1 out of the 12 did not adhere well, but that would be a “3M” issue- not related to the locks themselves.

Disappointed that there was no way to make them work with IKEA cabinets. The metal piece at the front of the cabinets prevented being able to mount the stop. They didn’t work on the drawers either. The stop has to be mounted so far back that there’s no room to get your fingers in to press the spring.

Doesn’t work! Has a quite a fatal design flaw where you can pull the drawer quickly then the hook will bend around the catch.The catch is also quite small too. The adhesive isn’t super strong as well.I originally bought from another seller who sells packs of 8 that are similar to these. THEY ARE MUCH BETTER, and slightly different, I now realise.The images of this item make it appear to be the same, but they are of much lesser quality. Waste of money, will likely throw them all out and buy from the other seller who sells the packs of 8 again. They have worked great.
