Best travel sound machine ever! It is small, but mighty and easily lasts 24 hours or 2.5 nights per charge! There is no looping sound either! I use the Yogasleep Dohm Classic sound machine at home and it is the old school kind that generates its sound with fans because the looping sounds of other digital sound machines drive me crazy all night long. This little thing is perfect for traveling and it charges in a few hours.

Let me start by saying that this mini white noise machine has been a game-changer for my sleep routine. As a college student with noisy neighbors and a constant need for sleep, this little device has truly saved the day (or should I say night?).First and foremost, let’s talk about the sound options. While the machine offers a variety of sounds to choose from, I have to admit I found my favorite white noise setting, and I stick with it every night. It’s not an aggressive or obnoxious noise like some other white noise machines, which is a relief. It’s soothing, comforting, and blocks out my neighbor trying to become the next soundcloud rapper at 3am. However, I must say that some of the other sound options are pretty obnoxious and I will likely never be using them.One of the standout features of this mini white noise machine is it’s rechargeable. I absolutely love the fact that it can play while it’s charging or be free. It saves me from constantly changing batteries and provides continuous sound throughout the night. Plus, it’s TINY!! It takes up so little space on my bedside table, making it perfect for travel. Hotel stays have become a lot more enjoyable since I started bringing this little thing along. I can finally sleep peacefully without being kept awake by traffic.Speaking of battery life, this mini white noise machine doesn’t disappoint. It lasts for at least three nights without needing a recharge. So convenient.Now, onto a couple of minor issues. Firstly, the selection of pleasant sounds is somewhat limited. Out of the options available, there’s only one that I find suitable for sleep. Some of the others are quite obnoxious and not conducive to a peaceful slumber. It would have been nice to have a wider range of soothing options. However, since I found my favorite, it hasn’t been a significant drawback for me.Secondly, there’s a green indicator light that can be bothersome in a dark bedroom. But I just covered the light with a small piece of electrical tape and now it’s no problem.Overall, this mini white noise machine has become my sleep savior. Its rechargeable feature, compact size, and ability to play while charging make it a must-have for anyone seeking a peaceful night’s rest. It has turned my college dorm experience from miserable to manageable, and it’s a reliable companion for travel. While the sound options may not be extensive, finding the perfect white noise setting has made all the difference. So, if you’re in need of some quality shut-eye, don’t hesitate to give this little device a try.

Good Sound Options & LOUD!!
At home, I normally sleep with two large oscillating tower fans…one on either side of my bed…for both cool air and sound. Suffice it to say my bedroom pretty much sounds like an airport/flight line at night. I also travel a lot for business and pleasure and often stay at hotels. In the past, most hotels contained in-room air conditioner fans that were capable of being set to run all night, thereby producing the sound I need to sleep. However, because more hotels seem to be focusing on energy conservation, they have started to eliminate that capability…hence my reason for purchasing this noise machine.After reading the reviews for this noise machine, I purchased and it arrived, all within two days. Once I unboxed it, plugged it in, and turned it on, I was shocked at how LOUD it is. While the volume can obviously be adjusted according to preference, the highest volume on this noise machine produces a sound so loud that I can quite literally be in another room…with the door closed…and still hear it clearly. It also has many great sound options…e.g. thunderstorm, rain shower, beach/waves, crickets, crackling fire…on top of at least 2-3 different white noise and/or fan sounds. The timer is also great and is a nice feature if you don’t need/want it to run all night; but if you’re like me and need the noise/sound all night, just leave it plugged in to charge while it runs. While I’ve only had an one opportunity to use this noise machine so far, the first night I turned this noise machine on and placed it on the bedside table in my hotel room, I fell asleep quickly and slept like a log. I will definitely be putting this in my suitcase for when I travel to Disney World/Orlando in a few days and plan to use it every night.If you’re looking for a fantastic noise machine that is small, easy to pack/travel with, produces multiple different sounds, comes in multiple colors, and is LOUD…look no further!

The Babelio Mini is a popular portable white noise machine. It is rechargeable using USB-C, which is a huge advantage over its main competitor in India — ‘Sleep’ by Saregama. Do keep in mind that this Babelio machine has to be charged using a USB-A to USB-C type cable.I wish the volume went a tad higher. It has about 15 levels of volume, with the first 8 being too low to be of any practical use. The White Noise quality is good. You have to cycle through the sequence once and set it to White Noise only once. Thereafter, it remembers your selection and automatically starts in White Noise mode every time. Refer the manual to note the sequence of preset sounds.The battery lasts about two nights, before needing to be recharged. Alternatively, you can choose to keep this permanently plugged in, if you so desire.The main complaint I have with it is the placement of the buttons at the bottom of the device. You have to lift it up, each time, to access the controls. Often, in the middle of the night, I have had to fumble to increase or decrease the volume. As this is round in shape, you can’t tell which button is Up or Down and it can be a pain having to guess and struggle in the dark, when you are half-asleep. I also own the ‘Sleep’ machine from Saregama, which has just a single knob on the top, to turn it ON and to also control the volume.Another drawback is that this Babelio machine can’t be “directed” to face a particular direction. As the speaker is fixed on the top, it emits sound upwards.

Currently sleep training our 6 month old and this has been a game changer! Small and portable so able to take everywhere. Volume easy to do in the dark as buttons easy to feel. Lasts all night if not plugged in too. Easy to use and value for money. Sleek design and excellent quality. Couldn’t recommend enough – highly recommend for sleep training as drowns out other noise. We’d be lost without it.
