The Bebexia Baby Carrier with Hip Seat is a game-changer for parents! The lumbar and back support are fantastic, making long walks or household chores with my little one much easier. The hip seat design ensures my baby sits comfortably without putting strain on my back. I love that it’s adjustable, fitting both me and my partner perfectly. It’s also machine washable, which is a lifesaver for those inevitable spills. A sturdy, well-designed carrier that combines comfort and convenience.Highly recommend it!

This is an extremely well-designed carrier made with good materials and carefully manufactured. It’s rugged enough to withstand anything yet surprisingly lightweight. It’s comfortable both for the caregiver and for the child. Had I received this as a baby shower gift, it would have become the gift I would have appreciated the most no matter what else people had given me.The fabric of this carrier is heavy gauge nylon which is both durable and easy to clean. This carrier will remain looking good for a very long time. The wide belt distributes the weight well and the padding is very effective. A separate triangular piece can be attached to the carrier to fit in the small of your back to offers an additional level of support. It’s genius, and especially welcome if you have to carry a heavier child for hours.Four pockets keep you organized and are incorporated unobtrusively into the design. When folded, it takes up only half the space of similar products. A button keeps the carrier closed. It would have made my life so much easier. There were so many mundane tasks that needed to be done which could still have been done with one hand, even if they were done more slowly. Once you have one of these carriers, there are accommodations that can be made for doing some things one-handedly. For example, dirty laundry could always be placed in a laundry bag that can be carried with one hand rather than using a hamper which would need both hands. Some items designed for people with disabilities can also be worthwhile to have. For example, there are large silicone bowls for adults which have been moulded as single piece with a placemat-type base which uses suction to keep the bowl from moving. If I were a baby or a toddler I’m sure I would appreciate all the extra hugs and attention that this would allow me to have, especially if I wasn’t feeling well. It’s a better vantage point from which to see my caregiver’s face and to take advantage things such as my caregiver softly humming a song. I’d get a better perspective of the world around me and even simple things like watching a cake being made would be fascinating. Having your baby so much closer for longer periods of time is also better for bonding and even for language development. For example, if a caregiver is mixing a cake and the baby can see everything that is happening, then it would be natural for a caregiver to provide a play-by-play description and ask for feedback from the baby. This carrier would be especially useful if you have a baby or toddler to care for as well as another child (or other children). It is an absolute must-have for daycares. In any case, it’s worth every penny.

I’ve personally used regularly at least three different styles of baby/toddler carriers and this Bebexia carrier is the only strapless kind. My favourites were the front-firing models. This is by default rear-facing but the toddler possible could be turned around and held looking forward. Regardless this is both a great idea and an awful one! Using this requires extreme vigilance. Happy toddlers are bouncy and fidgety and on this carrier there are zero restraints but your hands. In good faith I can’t recommend this at all for babies or the youngest least capable of toddlers. I do however think there is a PERFECT sweet spot for this carrier and in that spot it excels in every way. Consider an older toddler with full body control who isn’t a raving squirming lunatic, who likes to walk but long walks can get tiring and/or the need to contain and move quickly with an older toddler is paramount… bend down, they jump up and hold on while you wrap one arm and keep one free and off you go. It’s essentially replacing your hip. Free ride over, bend down slide off…no strapping, no legs caught, no fuss. Change your mind quickly, jump back on! Two seconds work.It is slightly bulky but also very well made and finished and the bulk is the significant wrap around velcro strapping, which absolutely feels solid and comfortable without the extra back support pad provided. There are pockets galore of all types, many zippered that all feel nicely placed and the fabric (grey model) has a very nice texture. Stitching is good, buckles are big but I’m not entirely sure why there is a buckle and strap addition. Nice touch is that the belt can be folded up and contained with the fixed elastic loop. There’s another elastic loop and a large button that keeps the whole unit locked together when folded up.Again within its usage sweet spot for older mobile controlled toddlers this is a terrific carrier with many features that justify the price. The Bebexia logo patch stitched to the very front is not one of those features! I don’t like wearing logos and this one is horrific. The carrier sings of quality but it’s led by an atrocity! Fortunately I’m sure the person who designed the carrier did not design the logo and it’s very loosely stitched on only two sides. It can be discarded with little effort. I think the carrier designer wants us to finish the job and remove it in the name of dashing good looks. In fact I think the company should include an apology letter with every carrier sold, acknowledging they really messed up. Maybe give a discount until the guys in production stop stitching them on. :)Great carrier but do not use if you are absent minded or your toddler is untrustworthy.

My wife and I both agree that, compared to when we were younger, babies are considerably heavier! Gone are the days when we could pick up one of ours out of the stroller and walk around a mall for hours on end; those cute little grandbabies of ours are so hefty that I feel I need to order this baby seat/back support to make carrying them easier.Okay, so maybe age has something to do with it. Regardless, this seat promises to make lifting and carrying easier for me and more comfortable for baby. Designed to fit a wide range of sizes (waists 27” to 55”), this belt is somewhat reminiscent of those used by weightlifters. Roughly five inches in width, the belt is very well padded and comfortable to wear; it employs both a wide velcro strap and a large adjustable side release buckle to ensure a snug, secure fit around the wearer’s waist. The front of the belt features a large protruding saddle which functions to support the baby while he/she is being held; the seating area has a solid base constructed of high density styrofoam covered with a grippy fabric which helps to prevent the child from slipping about; the styrofoam can be accessed via a zipper on the bottom of the belt’s front pocket. On the front side of this saddle you’ll find a zippered storage pocket that’s big enough to carry an extra diaper. A second compartment secured with a snap closure sits on the front of this one; it’s big enough for a pacifier or a set of keys. Additional storage is provided by a zippered pouch (big enough for a phone) on one side as well as a mesh bottle holder and an additional pocket on the side of the unit. My favourite part of the belt is the lumbar support which slides over the belt and can be positioned as needed behind your back. It’s quite stiff but has enough flex to it that it’s not uncomfortable; it distributes the load nicely across the lower back rather than in one or two specific spots and keeps the belt from digging into the wearer’s back. The belt is designed to carry babies from 3kg to 20kg. It is sturdily constructed of heavyweight material and does a nice job of providing baby a properly postured seat. Happily, the whole unit is washable. If I had one complaint, it would be the lack of documentation in the box; instructions on assembling the belt properly would have been nice.I’m not going to go as far as the product page does and claim that this unit is stylish (at least, not as far as I’m concerned). More importantly, however, is the fact that it is both practical and beneficial in preventing back pain and providing a posture friendly seat for baby. Everyone in our family who has tried it has found the device comfortable and extremely effective at transferring baby’s weight so that it’s not centred on the back of the person carrying the baby. It has made carrying our newest grandbaby a pleasure, we don’t have to worry that we’ll end up stiff and sore the next day. Highly recommended.

This is a fantastic baby carrier and really well made. What makes it stand out is the built-in seat for the baby to sit on, it’s different from most carriers I’ve seen and feels more supportive. It’s comfortable to wear, provides great back support, and the materials feel soft and safe for baby’s skin. I also like the adjustable straps and neutral design, which makes it suitable for both parents. Very happy with this item!
