Chic, Safe, and SO Easy to Install!
I am obsessed with this baby gate! Not only is it incredibly chic and stylish — it actually blends in with my home décor instead of looking bulky or out of place — but it was also unbelievably easy to install. I had it set up in just a few minutes with no stress at all.The gate feels sturdy and secure, and I love that it looks modern while still giving me peace of mind. It opens and closes smoothly, and the quality is amazing. If you want a baby gate that’s both functional and aesthetically pleasing, this one is a total winner!

The BEST dog-gate ever!
We have a LOT of dogs. Because we have so many, we have baby/dog gates throughout the house. It’s been this way for many many years now. Baby/dog gates come, baby/dog gates go. Tall, short, free-standing, mounted, self-closing, opens one-way, opens both ways — you name it, we’ve tried it. By far, THIS IS THE BEST GATE I HAVE SET UP YET! Definitely worth the few extra bucks it costs (you do get what you pay for when it comes to baby gates. The little ramp was key in helping with the installation, as well. I don’t necessarily need it as I rarely roll a cart through this doorway. But while installing this gate, it held it up in place and made it much easier for me to install solo. I didn’t want to permanently mount the cups in the door jam, so used the tape backing, instead. While I had the gate free-standing, I put the four tension bolts in place. Then I peeled off the tape cover and placed the cup over each bolt. I easily slip the tension bolt to the wall, applied pressure, and voilà! The cup was placed in exactly the right place. I tightened the tension bolts, released the cable that holds part of the gate back, and the work was done. I love the self-closing gate – yet, if needed, when you open the gate all the way, it will stay open. When it closes, the latch clicks in quietly. I have some gates that are so loud, they’d wake the dead. Not this one. Plus, the overall look shows quality. Well-made, well thought out. I’m so impressed with this gate, if I had the budget, I’d go through the house and replace all the old gates with this specific gate. My dogs are well trained, so they do not try to push through – but I have no doubt it would withstand the pressure from a large dog, if one were to try to push the gate down.

good gate for long term use
this is a very nice gate, not too hard to install. However, if you want a gate for just intermittent periods rather than one that you leave in place for a long time, then it is a bit of a pain to reinstall. There is a ziptie that holds the gate together under considerable tension prior to installation. Once installed you have to remove this ziptie to use the gate. Then if you take it down, the next time you want to use it, you have put a fair amount of force on the gate and retie the gate with another ziptie or rope to install it. That is a two person job.

Solid Build and Perfect For Forgetful Gate Closers Like Myself
Solid build and easy to set up. Auto close function works great for us!The latch doesn’t open as easily as others due to the dual locking mechanism, so you have to unlock, lift, and then open it, rather than using one button. Height will be great for the next few years since our little one won’t be able to climb over until 1 year and, in my opinion, up to 3 years of age. At that point, they should be able to handle stairs a lot better.The gate works well, and when our little one tries to wiggle on it, it does not move a budge, even without screwing it into the wall. Well done!

Sturdy, secure, and easy to use.
This gate is wonderful. It’s very adjustable to the width of the passageway or doorway you want to use it in. It’s sturdy, strong and it has a very secure closing mechanism that children parent and some adult adults) cannot open. Highly recommended.

Gate works perfectly as advertised
This is a great gate. I love the height, and that it self closes. You can also open it wide, and it stays open. Only thing that is a bit annoying is you have to lift it to open it. I get the reason behind it, but it’s for dogs, not kids, so it would have been better without that aspect. It gives peace of mind for kids, as they will not be able to get through it, but, again, ours is for dogs. Still gets 5 stars though, as I knew about it prior to my purchase. The gate does EXACTLY what it advertises.
