Ice, ice baby!
I’m one of those guys who always likes to have a steady supply of ice handy for freezing, refreshing water or to put in a whiskey glass for a decidedly stronger (and occasional) harder drink on the rocks. But alas, my fridge has no icemaker. And I hated having to go to the convenience store on a regular basis for bags of ice to replenish my supply. Now, I have ice at the ready at all times with this aesthetically pleasing DOQAUS ice cube tray set. Each tray (with individual lids) yields 10 cubes — 40 total among the four trays! I always have ice in the chamber, filling the accompanying container atop which I neatly stack the trays to freeze more water. A handy little scoop is kept inside the bin for ready use. I realize this sounds like a small thing to get excited about. But at the end of the day, it’s the small things that make me happy. Those tabletop ice makers are financially prohibitive (really, it’s just hard to justify the expense). And making regular trips to the convenience store for a bag of ice was always a hassle. This solves my dilemma! Sometimes, old school is best!

Nice ice cube trays
This is a very nice product. Just a couple things to know. If the volume of liquid is important to you, I could only fit 24 cc of liquid in one cube cup, and this does not include room for expansion once frozen. I will try to weigh this volume of water that fits, to see if I get a different result. Also, all four trays with their lids will fit inside the outer container if they are empty and stacked. If they are full and each tray sealed with a lid, only 3 trays will fit inside the outer container. Overall, a very nice product, and I think it will still work for me. My intended use is to store servings of food and bone broth, which can be popped out and defrosted. I also freeze liquids during soap making, to be mixed to make the lye solution, like goat’s milk, teas, and coffee, to keep the solution cool. I think the flexible bottoms will greatly help the cubes pop out more easily than other ice cube trays that I have used before. For health reasons, I see that they are BPA free. There is no recycling number that I could find, but per Google “polypropylene” would be a recycling number 5. That is better than some other types of plastic.

Best ice cube trays I’ve every used
These are great.I’ve recommended these to friends.A quick twist usually releases all the cubes.When one doesn’t fall out immediately, I just press the flexible green part. Done!I know this sounds like an ad, but these are the best ice cube trays I’ve ever owned.It’s a small simple thing, but I like being able to consistently empty an ice tray, refill it, and put it back in the freezer in under 30 seconds with no stuck cubes or spills.One caveat: while the lids prevent major sloshing and spills, they are not watertight. If you overfill the tray or tip it, some water will dribble out. That took me a couple of tries to figure out.I recommend these. For the price, I don’t think you can beat it.

Solid purchase for a rental apt
It’s good. I don’t have an ice maker in my apartment and I much prefer this from the ice trays I bought at Walmart. It doesn’t smelll as much and the ice cube size is perfect. The only downside is that the ice cub box doesn’t fit all of the ice cubes that are made from 4 trays which is kind of odd… I like to dump my ice in the big box and then refill the ice cube trays but the box only holds 2 ice cube trays. BUT it does fit very well inside my fridge freezer. Nice and compact

I purchased this ice cube set for a friend. She’s 92 and has a hard time putting ice cube trays filled with water into her freezer. She’s been using them for a couple of weeks now and just called to tell me she “loves them”. She is happy with the quality and design of the trays and most importantly, she can use them without help. The soft bottoms pop out the cubes without a problem and because these trays make the cubes a little smaller than the standard size, she can fit three cubes in a glass comfortably. The storage bin comes in handy to have ice cubes at the ready. I highly recommend this set, especially for the elderly and/or people with some disabilities. Two thumbs up.

This ice tray kit is so cool. I am a 40 y/o mom of two and receiving this made me excited to make ice! 😹 It comes with 4 trays and they each have lids to keep them covered to keep the ice clean until you’re ready to use it. Once ice is frozen, the trays are also very easy to dump out the cubes and into the big bucket they also send you within this kit. It also comes with a little scooper so you don’t have to use your hands getting out the ice. Talk about convenience….. this is it.I totally would buy this again and I totally would recommend to friends to buy this! 👌🏼

perfect for small spaces.
These work great! The ice cubes are a good size, and it’s super easy to get them out. I love that each tray comes with its own lid—it makes them stackable when full and a real space saver. The included container and scoop are perfect for small freezers or RVs.One tip: if you stack them too high, the top and bottom trays freeze faster than the middle ones, so I’d recommend stacking only two at a time.Overall, really well-designed and convenient. Love it and would definitely buy again!

Too small for my needs.
When they say it’s meant for an RV they mean it’s small. Multiple ice trays with lids and a box with a lid for the ice to go in. It’s too small for me to bother with as far as holding ice enough for more than one or two people at a time this is not it. I put my Amish butter in it. It fits perfect for that. The ice trays are going to produce very small ice cubes. Again too small to really do anything for me. I think I’ll use the trays since they have lids to make different flavors of butter in each one or something. It’s cute I can absolutely use it for alternative means but I would not purchase this again. It’s too small for any practical use.

Bought this as the ice cube tray that came the fridge was not that great. This fits nicely, with the container on one side and the tray next to it. Easy to get the ice cubes out and fill up. Great!
