This shower chair has been a game-changer for me. It’s incredibly sturdy and supports weight up to 400 lbs without any wobbling or slipping. Great chair for the shower stall. Practical, durable, and useful.
My wife needed a chair for sitting down in the shower. This Homland turned out to be ideal, for a reasonable price. It’s compact enough to fit in most shower stalls with flexible foot pads to help prevent scratching the shower stall floor. The seat and back are sturdy plastic, the metal tubing is aluminum, and the fasteners are stainless steel with plastic wings to allow assembly or adjustment without tools. The seat has hand holds, the legs are adjustable for height, the back is removable if needed, and there’s an attractive optional adhesive seat pad. The main tubing fasteners are underneath the seat, where the wing bolts aren’t obtrusive. To remove the potential for snagging I replaced the two wing bolts securing the seat back with stainless steel pan-head machine screws, 6mm x 1.0 x 35mm.

The only issue for me is the height of the shower chair. Or, the lack of it, actually…
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This shower chair would easily get five stars from me except it isn’t tall enough for my long legged 5’7 self. With weak knees like I have it can be difficult to stand up from a seated position unless it’s from a certain height. I didn’t read the description carefully enough or I would have known the seat height isn’t tall as I need. I had just assumed there was a standard height for shower chairs, having had one before, but the new one is definitely not as tall as the other one. Different brand though. It’s easy to assemble, good quality, and sturdy. I’m going to keep it and use it for now.

Okay, so I have a jacked up back and knees. I looked at and tried several shower chairs. All of them stuck out of the tub, or pushed the curtain out. This one fits perfect. The shower curtain doesn’t get pushed out, so my floor stays dry. It’s sturdy, easy to move around, lightweight, and easy to put together. Now that I have it, I spend an average of 5 extra minutes luxuriating in the shower. Great buy!

Really Good, Inexpensive Utility Chair!
This is a really good, inexpensive chair, which I am using for other than a shower. Easy to assemble with very clear instructions. Very sturdy and highly useful. Great buy!

Light but sturdy
Light but sturdy, fits perfectly in my small apartment bathtub/shower. I am 5’6 and 230 lbs, this chair works great for me. At the tallest setting, I can sit with my feet flat on the floor and my knees at 90 degree angles. For anyone above 5’6, just keep in mind it may feel short to you. I have not wobbled once on this chair, it is very solid and safe. We don’t have nonslip bathtub mats, and this chair still stays put. I didn’t attach the blue mat on the seat of the chair, and I find it plenty comfortable without it and easier to wipe down.It was pretty easy to put together, I managed it by myself in about 20 minutes from a seated position on my bed. I live with people who do not sit to shower, and the chair is small and unobtrusive in our shared bathroom when I’m not using it, even though it doesn’t fold up. On the whole, highly recommend, though taller folks may prefer a taller chair.

This shower chair has been a great help for me as I’ve been finding it difficult to stand for long periods while showering. It feels sturdy and comfortable, and I’ve placed it on an anti-slip mat inside the tub for extra safety. Excellent chair for my elderly mother who weighs about 90 lbs. I’m not too sure how well it would work for a person who is a bit heavier as the seat is quite small. Nice compact chair and it has served my mom well.
