Nice option
Very simple install. Have a few tips that some of the other reviews didn’t touch upon.1. Using needle nose pliers remove the cord tabs on the box. You might want to file the rough edges.2. Punch the back foam cut out. Place over the existing outlet.3. Place the box over the outlet. Place choice if the cover plate over the outlet ,4. Use the screw of choice to install over civer plate to the face of the outlet.5. To fasten the clear plastic door, place the cover onto the face of the box, using your closed fist, pop the the hinges onto the base. They should click into position.6. Plug your cords into socket7. Close the cover,Hope this helps

Easy install. adaptable to different outlets
This is a very nice outdoor weatherproof cover for an existing outlet. It comes with adapters for both the rounded and the square outlet types. Easy to install.

Excellent weatherproof cover for outdoor outlts
This weatherproof cover is easy to install, taking only 4 or 5 minutes to attach to an outdoor outlet. Just need a screwdriver. Cover snaps on easily and latches shut to protect the outlet. Fits normal outdoor extension cords but the thicker heavy duty cords may hinder closing the cover completely.

Simple install and functional
Looks great, seems durable, mostly functional. Bought this to cover the outlets that I plugged my permanent home lights into and it definitely will do the trick. The package itself does not come with any instructions at all but the amazon listing has great instructions within the photos so I used those for the install to make sure I did it correctly. Appears to be fully weatherproof and seals up nicely. The cord hole pieces were relatively easy to pop out with pliers. Might not be large enough to handle all plug types but it certainly works for what I needed it for.

I needed protection for an outlet at our front door that is used for both flag illumination and holiday lights. This cover is better than others I’ve had, or found available locally.

solid box but not weather protected
Product description says “Weatherproof Electrical Box”, but the box has large gap all around the front cover.the product is solid but i t is not really weather sealed or not even close. even insects like wasp can walk in the gap and build next if they choose to. that was my concern that it will not product the electric plug in my porch as needed. if not the water is the concern. you can see the gap in the picture.

Great product and was easy to install if you know what you’re doing already. There was a lack of instructions but if you know what you’re doing you’ll be fine. Other then that it’s great and the weather seal is perfect.
