Really sturdy and safe bath chair
Life changer chair, we can have a shower and have a chair to sit down without fear of falling. Our kids love it too!It is really sturdy, you can adjust the height easily and hassle free. It has a perfect size and great functionality. We got it more than a year ago and would buy it again!

Great sturdy medical chair
This is easy to assemble, sturdy, doesn’t move back and forth, easy cleaning, and you could press the buttons on the side for lower to higher to adjust for short or tall people. this chair seems to hold any kind of weight as well, wide enough to move freely and not the feeling of falling off chair due to not having enough room on it! I would recommend this to everyone out there since I do have a partially handicap girl.

No longer comes as one piece
This is a great little shower chair. I bought one a few years ago and wanted to get another. I went back into my Amazon orders and reordered. But this time it came in pieces and I found it oddly awkward to put together. Usually I’m happy to put things together, but with this you have to have the pieces at such odd angles…Tell me if I’m wrong! And I’m not sure I like the sticky-outy screw heads. Also, be sure to keep tightening and retightening all screws after you put it together. BUT –eventually it felt solid — and it is just what she wanted. So: almost perfect. But there were some moments……!

Great Chair/Fantastic Shipping/Use Common Sense
Great Chair, very safe if used correctly, easy assembly and can YouTube if the directions aren’t clear. BTW, there are metal washers that are not in the manual but included. They cup the poles on the outside between screws and poles. Shipping was phenomenal. Original shipping date said 10 days from purchase and it came the very next day. Just a note after reading some of the reviews: just because the weight limit is 400lbs, it DOES NOT mean you SHOULD put it on the tallest 8 setting if you are close to 400lbs. Chair works great if you balance the weight with the extension number. Heavier weight, lower/shorter number, if you are lighter weight, pick any number. It will support you if put together correctly and screws are tight, but will not feel sturdy if on higher peg number/taller setting (7or 8) if over close to or over 300lbs. If you are looking for a 20.5 inch tall chair and close to or over 300lbs, this is not the shower chair for you.

Function versus image
I purchased this chair in 6/2024. I weigh about 200 lbs. There was no problem with the size and fit of the chair and it was very easy to assemble and worked as a chair should. About 6 months ago I noticed that the chair was weaker on the left side. There was a very slight deformity of the legs on the left side in that they were closer together than the legs on the right side. I felt the weakness when I would sit on the chair in the shower and felt that I needed to sit very gently or the chair would tumble. So after a few months of gentle use the chair tumbled. Luckily I was anticipating such a thing and when I fell it was like in slow motion. Fortunately my husband was home and helped me through it all but I think that the chair should have lasted more then 18 months. Thus, I am forced to give a one star review. My left hip landed on the ridge on the shower stall but like I said I was kind of anticipating such an event and went down in slow motion. I would definitely change the weight limit to two hundred pounds and I don’t care how sturdy the chair looks it’s the function that’s important and unfortunately this was very very poor. Works great
I bought this to sit on in my steam sauna enclosure in my house. I needed something that was comfortable to sit on and that was waterproof and strong. This would work for a bath or shower too easy. The only thing that might be a issue in a bath is if the opening is not big enough for this. But, other than that it is comfortable. I sit on it 15-20 minutes and it is comfortable and could easily sit on it longer.

The Medline Bath Chair with Back offers a sturdy and comfortable seating option for shower use, featuring a full backrest and easy tool-free assembly. Its height-adjustable legs and rubber non-slip feet provide a secure fit in tubs. The chair is lightweight and easy to move but might not feel entirely secure on uneven or sloped shower floors. Overall, it is a decent product for the price, but those needing extra durability might want to consider sturdier alternatives.
