This is a nicely sized kitchen gadj for a crazy household with foodie chef parents and an oral fixated 5 month old. To say the counter space real estate it uses is genius is an understatement. How can one child result in SO MUCH intrusive “stuff”?!We love the features combined in this product- chopping and having various settings for texture based on the age and preference of your little one’s tastes is especially appreciated for a learning family. The colors of the baby food maker compliment just about any decor. Its non descript enough to just sort of blend in.We personally like the smaller size batches that this creates as we are often same day shopping for our meals and tend to make batches that only last a day or two anyways. Having just established a viable garden this past summer we are very much looking forward to utilizing this item with our freshly grown vegetables and produce.I anticipate that even after our baby has grown out of the pureed food stage we will continue to use this item in daily household prep for smoothies, yogurts etc. For the money I think the quality and design of this product is impressive. Not a buyer of distilled water and unless the company chooses to highlight with specific language why it is required per instructions I am going to ignore that aspect of the directions and use what our well puts out with our ultraviolet filtration system. Detracted a star for the distilled water prompt. Being a new parent is expensive enough without that added cost and the guilt added that we might be doing something less than perfect for our child.
