The Pawtners retractable baby gate is one of the best safety gates I’ve used! At 41 inches tall, it provides great coverage, and the extra-wide 71-inch extension fits perfectly across wide hallways, stairs, and open spaces. The retracting mechanism is smooth and quiet, and the fabric is strong enough to handle both toddlers and energetic pets.The included support rods make the gate extra stable, preventing bending or sagging. Installation was straightforward, and the lock/unlock mechanism is simple for adults but secure enough that kids can’t open it. I also love that it’s perfect for indoor and outdoor

Privacy and space when you need it most
This Pawtners extra wide gate is actually perfect for my home office. My cats could climb anything, but this is tall enough where they just don’t even try. It also blocks my dog when I’m working from home so I don’t have to shut my office door and sit in stale air all day. I get a wide, clean barrier with fresh airflow and a quiet workspace. Helps keep my pets in their designated areas
Works well overall. I like that it rolls up and can be hidden from view when open. Other pet gates take up room in a doorway, and this one doesn’t if you set it up right. There are also more ways to set up the gate on walls, and you are not limited to just between a door space. The extension allows for a wider fit, and the mesh fabric is pretty sturdy. My rabbit can be determined to get places, and he has not yet figured out how to get under the mesh (keeping my fingers crossed). It is easy to lock the gate in place when it is extended; however, you must unlock it to open or adjust the length again. It would be nice if it were like a tape measure, where you can adjust while it is in a more locked position. Otherwise, it is relatively easy to adjust, and it looks nice in my home.

A great gate on our porch for our German pointer.
It was easy to install and high enough that our dog is unwilling to try to go over it plus the spring tension is strong enough that he can’t get under it especially with the stave in the middle. Besides the height it also has the length to span a wider than normal door opening. We (us and our dog) are very happy with the gate as we can relax on the porch and he can roam freely on the porch without any supervision. I would buy again.

This is tall and wide
Note that this is extremely tall and wide. Simple set up and latches on the other side. The material is also good to keep my dog out but also sturdy enough incase I accidently kick it.

Perfect for my dogs and strong enough to have these two run into it at full head of steam and hold!
I needed a barrier to protect my dogs but yet be able to keep my garage door open and found a winner. Really easy to install and very strong. This got tested when my 2-year-old German Shepherd was playing and ran right into it with a full head of steam. It worked so well even the ground safety hooks held. I couldn’t be happier. It sits high enough to where they can’t jump over it and yet you can see through it as if it’s not even there. Looks nice and works well for my man cave. Highly recommend this product.
