The initial password for the cabinet lock is (: 000)
To set a new code:
1. press the top button above the numbers to release the wire and separate into 2 parts – the lock part and the part that holds the wire.
2. with the lock set to 000 (or your current code), press the metal button in with the end of a pen or paperclip, it is located on the right side of lock.
3. while pressing the metal button in, rotate the numbers to your new code and then release the metal button.
4. push the end of the wire into the lock and rotate the dial 5. test the new code by setting it to the new code and pushing the top button.

I love them
These work well to keep my cats out of my closet. They usually come up and claw at the gap in the closet door and get in but with these it secures it. It’s easy to change the code and the key is small and nice to keep on my keychain for when I need to change the codes. They have a strong adhesive and I am able to operate these locks with my longer nails which I appreciate.

Great for childproofing
I use these locks to keep my small children out of my freezers. They’re working well! Secure, easy to install, easy to lock and unlock, and seem fairly sturdy!

It does it’s job of locking up the fridge
I like that these fridge/cabinet locks use a number lock rather than a key. Those keys would get lost so fast. Anyway, it’s easy to install- just make sure you wipe and dry the area where it’s going to stick and make sure there’s enough distance between the cable side and number lock side to prevent it from being too tight where you can’t get it locked. It works well to keep the little kids out of the fridge and my very diabetic elderly mother who just can’t help her self when it comes to overnight snacking. It’s really helped her control her snacking and to bring her blood sugar levels closer to normal, in addition to exercising her more. Drastic yes, and it’s not the hero we want but the hero we need. I’ll definitely buy more if I need to in the future.

One defective lock
I ordered 2 sets and I was able to successfully install 3 out of 4. The first one I went to change the passcode and was able to do so. I clipped the lock end back into the keypad side and the new passcode I inputted wouldn’t unlock it. Neither would the original passcode. Other than that, this product is amazing! Super sticky and easy to use. If you pull the cord too tight when installing, it’s difficult to get it to push back in. I wasn’t able to turn the numbers for the passcode while holding the button so I had to use the key. Which it very well could just be built that way, but the instructions didn’t specify.

Perfect solution
Exactly what I needed. The adhesive is strong and sticks well. I needed something to secure my drawers without having to drill any holes. Although be careful, if you forget your combination, you will have to remove the two pieces and adhesive seems VERY strog, most likely causing damage when removing. This is more than a child safety device, it’s a true lock for your drawers.

Worked for 1 Week!
It worked for 1 week. Now when I try to lock it, it won’t stay in the hole!!! It keeps popping out on its own and I can just pull it out without the code because it isn’t locking. I don’t leave the code so I scrambled the numbers and yet tried to lock it but it will not stay. It’s useless to me now!! How do I take it off the counter? It is really stuck!
