Easy install, even without directions!
This gate was super easy to install. I’ve had it a few months in preparation for our little one crawling. He’s all over now! I installed this by myself with no directions. Was a little funky to get it up by myself and stay in one spot while tightening, but as soon as I tightened the top two, I got the bottoms no problem.Super easy locking mechanism, swings both ways to open and shut and locks by itself.One thing to keep in mind is to not overtighten the top mounts, as it won’t close and it’ll be tight to open. I loosened it a little (it still can’t be ripped down by the tiny hands) and it works perfectly!! 10/10 would absolutely buy again. I didn’t need the extra pieces, but saved them in case we move and need them in the future!

Great gate!
It replaced a doggy gate that I had to put up and take down constantly so this works great! Wish it stayed open when I wanted it to since the door is on a spring hinge it won’t. My dogs are afraid to push it open (lol) but I just prop it open and it does the job whenever I’m not using it. Very sturdy!

Great but be sure to lubricate the mechanism
Great and easy to install, works as intended. Biggest issue is the locking mechanism gets stuck and is difficult to open. Basically kept it like that for a year before I was bored and reviewed the reviews, lubricating the locking mechanism worked wonderfully.

This Gate Is Awesome!!!
I love this gate. It automatically closes behind you, and its a bit loud when it closes, but it hasn’t disturbed my child. It comes with all the hardware needed to extend. I purchased the 4 pack of wall savers but could only use the top ones cause the base molding makes it too snug for the bottom two. No worries tho. I plan to purchase another one of these gates in the near future for the top of the stairs in case the kid learns how to climb out of her crib. Every so often I have to tighten up the mounting gear, but I’m ok with that. According to the instructions, this is normal anyway.Update***** After almost 3 years of continuous use, the gate finally gave up the ghost. It was the latching system that went. The plastic inside the latch cracked and still worked for awhile but was tricky. Finally the plastic broke completely off leaving the magnet on the other side of the gate. The magnet is what makes this self closing.Still keeping the 5 star review. I feel like it was well worth the money and will purchase again.

Locking mechanism won’t unlock!
We’ve had this gate installed for less than a week. It was easy to install and was great for the first day. The first couple of days my 5 yo could easily open it and go in and out (we got this to hold in my 18 mo).The first thing to start giving us issues was the autolock. At first it was that you couldn’t let it close gently—you just had to let it swing shut. Ok, that’s easy enough. But then even when we’d let it swing it would swing through the lock and then settle in the unlock position. And then we’d push it closed. It’s not a big deal, but if we weren’t fast enough my son would come barreling through. Ugh.The next thing to start giving us issues was the lock on the bottom of the gate. This lock is great if you want to limit the direction you can open the gate. So, if you want it to only open one way, you can move the little plastic lever on whichever side and it keeps it from opening. Well, one side started to fall just slightly. Not enough to notice when you looked down, but just enough so that you could see it had fallen if you look from the side. It was enough to keep us from being able to open it up and we’d have to bend down and adjust it each time. Still, not great, but it’s still doing its job and the door still basically works.This morning my daughter woke up and asked me to come help her open the gate because it’s been getting increasingly difficult to press the button and it had finally gotten to be too much for her little hands. I went to try it and it was STUCK. I tried with both hands but still couldn’t get it. I tried messing with the tension of the gate… still nothing. I am 5’3” and the gate is as low as we could get it on the floor and I’m just BARELY tall enough to step over the gate. My mom is a little shorter than I am and not quite as stable on her feet so stepping over it is not an option. So, now, I have a gate that is keeping everyone under 5’3” out of the kitchen 🤬🤬🤬.I’m not the only one who’s had this issue. Wtf is the point of a gate with a door if the door is just going to stay locked? I could’ve spent half as much and gotten the same thing 🙄. Returning.

WD40 necessary
Pros: Cheap, extremely easy to install, auto close and lock work as advertised, lock actually requires pushing both buttons (not true of some other gates)Cons: Out of the box is extremely sticky latch (2 handed squeeze to pull the trigger and lock stuck in the open position unless with force). Had to spray WD40 and loosen screws on the lock mechanism to free up the lock to both be opened as intended. Plastic components look and feel cheap.Quality of components is lower than that of competitors and was not particularly functional out of the box, but once loosened up it does work as advertised.

Best gate to have for kids!
Very glad i chose these gates! I bought 1 for our down steps and just bought another for the steps going upstairs. Love that they automatically close and lock!!! A must have featur! I have a baby and a toddler so i dont have to worry that my toddler left a gate open. Very sturdy and install was pretty easy. Has a nice wide opening. My only small complaint is that 1 of my gates, the latch is a little harder to work then the other. 1 is extremely easy to press and the other takes a little more muscle. Not a big deal but i may return and see if i get an easier one, my toddle has had trouble with it at times. I would definately recommend this gate!

Una muy buena puerta de seguridad. Adecuada para espacios hasta de 1m de ancho, muy facil de instalar y de materiales muy resistentes. Debes de leer muy bien las indicaciones antes de instalarla, ya que si no lo haces es un poco mas dificil. Ojo!! Aunaue sus niños sean pequeños no dejen que los vean como se abre o como se quita el seguro ya que aprenden muy rapido como abrirla y esto puede ser peligroso o dejarla obsoleta. Por las noches o cuando este su niño jugando sin tanta supervisión PONGAN AMBOS SEGUROS DE LA PARTE BAJA, esto evitará algun mal momento.

Gran solución para que mis perros y los niños no se cayeran por las escaleras. Está un poco retador ajustarlo pero una vez instalado cierra bien y tiene opciones para evitar que los niños pequeños le abran fácilmente (si no ven como le haces).Es muy estético. Si me gustó.

Puerta para bebe práctica, sencilla y fácil de colocar, la usamos en la parte de abajo de las escaleras para que el bebe de 2 años no subiera y se cumplió el objetivo, de plástico de buena calidad y presentación, igual para quitar muy fácil por que solo es de presión en el sitio que la quieras colocar.
