ESSENTIAL when outside. Best few bucks ever spent in my life
Cannot leave home without it! My wife calls this her “secret weapon” in our war on baby terror. This toy functions as a rattle, hand/eye coordination development aid, chew toy, utility hooks, and parental sanity aid. Our baby likes to suck on it while playing, so it’s reassuring it’s BPA free & Phthalate compliant according to sassybaby website.Of all the toys and rattles, this is by far my 4 months old baby’s favorite. Whenever she starts to fuss or cry while we’re out, we just jiggle this in front of her, and its soft clacking sound and bouncing colors always calm her down immediately. It’s amazing how fascinated she is by this toy! It also has a lot of surface to easily grasp by (one-handed or two) and varied textures (some rings are lumpy, some smooth, some ribbed). You can also interlock the rings into a chain as an alternative form of toy or utility hook (be careful it doesn’t become a strangulation hazard). It’s also compact enough to fit in a pocket or stroller cup holder.To keep the baby occupied during meals out, we mount it dangled above the baby on the carrier/stroller handle using a looped pacifier strap like Ulubulu Universal Pacifier Clip, Oliver Owl or Velcro strap Velcro Reusable Self-Gripping Cable Ties, 0.5 Inches x 8 Inches Long, Black, 100 Ties per Pack (91140). If the baby’s holding the toy instead, a pacifier strap can also clip to the bib to avoid the toy dropping on the floor.The baby and wife love this toy so much, I just bought another 2 to keep existing the one at home, one in the car, and one in the diaper bag. Of course, your particular baby may have differing tastes, but no fancy projector, sound machine, smartphone app, etc. may save your sanity and public crying baby embarrassment as quickly and easily as this ~$4 toy.Alternatives:Manhattan Toy Winkel is another great toy (baby’s second favorite for grasping, staring at, and sucking) and has a soft built-in rattle, but is bulky and not as useful to hush the crying baby. To prevent the baby getting bored of the ring toy, we have her play instead with the Winkel at home.An actual rattle like Bright Starts Rattle and Shake Barbell Rattle is louder, but fails to hold my baby’s attention for more than a second, and is very limited in graspable area. It may be good for an older baby, but for now, just sits at home unused.Different vendors have similar toys, some with even more rings, but none seem to have BPA & Phthalate info. Babies love putting everything in their mouths, so we try to seek only toxin-free.

Great little toy for the baby! I love that it’s colorful and there are no small parts he could choke on. It’s made of a softer plastic, so it’s not super loud when the baby shakes it.

These links are such a simple but must-have baby toy! We’ve used them for all three of our kids in so many ways—teething, clipping toys to car seats, strollers, play gyms, or just letting them chew and play with the colorful rings. The bright colors and textures keep little ones interested, and they’re lightweight enough for babies to grab easily.They’re also super durable and easy to clean. I love that they grow with your child—great for teething as babies, then later for linking and pretend play as toddlers. A small, inexpensive item that gets used all the time!

This toy was definitely a winner for my baby for many reasons! For one, my baby was instantly intrigued by how colorful toy is. Other reasons:-small enough for baby to grab and wrap hands around-super easy to clean-you can divide this toy set into smaller sets (helped eliminate the urge to buy multiples of this toy)-you can hook these links on almost anything-compact enough for travel-texture helps baby’s sensory development-colorful and engagingOnly thing complaint is I wish it was softer because my baby likes to gnaw on it. Otherwise get it if you’re not a beige parent. Or heck, buy it for the sad beige parent because they need a healthy dose of color.

Great for a small baby 4-6months
This is a colorful fun toy. Our 5 month old finds it fascinating. The links come apart and can be put in different orders. Sometimes you can lose a piece or two. It is a bit hard for teething but she seems to love to chew on it. Easy to clean, I just throw it in the dishwasher! Overall worth it for the price.

Simple but effective
Links and chains was one of our baby’s first toys and still is a favorite at 10 months. He likes to drag them around the house with him or shake them to make noise on the floor. Quality was good and the links were different colors and had different “textures” on them. I did wish it came with some more links, but for just a few dollars it is a good deal. We didn’t use the black and white holder that it comes with that much- the links tended to fall off of it when played with or used to fasten to a car seat, etc. We also used the links a lot to fasten other toys to carseat, etc.Great value for $3 or so. There are better deals for links if it is $5 or more.

Got this for my baby at 6weeks old. They are now over 1yr and still love it. Bright colors, endless fun. Greats for motor movement, sensory, engagement and focus. A must have for any baby! Light weight, durable, easy clean, easy to hold, safe, love love love

Sehr schnelle Lieferung.Tatsächlich ein schönes Spielzeug,es hat die richtige Größe für die kleinen Babyhände.Mein Sohn (3 Monate alt) ist jedesmal von den Ringen begeistert,obwohl und gerade weil es ein ganz einfaches Spielzeug ohne unnötigen Schnickschnack ist.Die Ringe sind in sehr schönen Farben und haben eine gute Festigkeit,nicht zu hart und nicht zu weich.Man kann den Kleinen gut die Farben damit erklären.Es dient zum Erlernen des Greifens und als Beißring.Bpa-frei.Würde es definitiv wieder kaufen!

Ma fille de 2 mois ne joue qu’avec celui là. Elle a plein de peluches de pouet pouett ect… Mais vraisemblablement c son préférésans doute de part ses couleurs vives et captivantes puis le diametre des anneaux est parfait pour ses petites mains. Elle s’éclate à le secouer et aime le porter en bouche. Vraiment j’ai hésité au debut et quand je vois comment Ca l’occupe je regrette de ne pas lui avoir pris plutot. C’est la premiere fois qu’elle s’intéresse à un jouet les autres ne sont là que pour la deco…

I bought this for my 3 month old baby, it was one of the first things he was able to grab hold of and keep a tight grip of as the rings are a perfect size for small fingers. The different colours grab his attention, and he will follow it with his eyes when i jangle it in front of him.My friend has a baby a few months older, and on a play date he also loved the rings and was holding one in each hand and chewing on another. I ended up letting him keep it and have ordered another as he was enjoying it so much and was obviously helping his little gums too!I didnt think it looked like much, but it’s a great toy for babys who seem to enjoy holding the different textures, and then moving onto chewing on them!!They’re also good for cliping things onto the pram/buggy hood, great inexpensive toy.
