A read a million reviews trying to make a decision on which bench to purchase for our newly renovated shower. This was the one and I am soooo glad. The color, size, look, functionality is perfect for our needs. It was more pricey than other options but I think this is worth every dollar. Best part is my husband is 6.2 and 250’ish pounds and said it was comfortable and sturdy. I was worried if it would work for him. Great buy!

Slips easily
After I put it together, I set it on my laminate floor, sat down only to have the hard plastic feet slide on the floor,stool tipped over sending me to the floor and the back of my head hit the seat edge. It was like Hilary Swank in million dollar baby, I just got lucky I didn’t break my neck. Tested the feet in my tub and they slipped easily there too. Won’t be using it as I feel it isn’t a safe stool for anyone. It is beautiful but scary.

Great quality
We ordered this bench over others because it didn’t appear to be colored/stained in any way and it doesn’t have the bar in front of the lower shelf. It went in my daughter’s 30×60 shower as a shaving stool and it looks great in place. It doesn’t take up too much space, or look cheap and the leveling feet keep it stable on the sloped shower pan. It is also cat approved.It has been in place about a week and I have noticed no discoloration on the shower pan or anything like that. The wood itself looks hydrated and rich.I will likely order another when my own shower is completed.

Great Bench – needed adjustments to be perfect
This is a very beautiful little bench. The fan design of the wood is very attractive and of course the teak looks elegant. It’s the perfect size for my smallish shower. I only gave it four stars because the leveling feet that came with it were not adequate for the leg size of the bench (which makes it tip over easily as some other reviewers mentioned). This was an easy fix by purchasing larger levers at my local big box hardware store (four levelers for $5). In the picture the leveler that came on the bench is on the left, and the one I bought is on the right. The bench is now very steady because it is level despite the incline for the drain and the leveler diameter is appropriate for the size of the leg. I would recommend to the manufacturer that they consider this upgrade, as I’m sure it will improve the quality and thus the ratings of this great little bench.
