Good shower chair-make sure it will fit you tub
I needed the shower chair as I had an injured foot. I measured my bathtub,, but did not realize it wasn’t quite rectangle shaped. It was smaller on the ends and wider in the middle with a slight curve. The chair didn’t fit perfectly, but I was able to use it but it was a tight fit. Make sure it is as wide as needed. It fit my needs and I would buy it again. I did not have enough space in my tub with the chair to put on the shower bag provided

This chair has been great for my dad to use while visiting. He’s getting up there in age and standing for long times wears him out. This allows him the comfort of enjoying a shower without the exhaustion of it being too much work. I’m impressed with the quality of the chair. It’s very sturdy and I’m confident he is safe in it. It’s easy to put together and set just the right height for him. It’s not too heavy to move around. This allows for safer showers and gives me more peace of mind. I did not use it this time for pregnancy but I did use something similar in my later months and this would be great for that situation as well.

I am really impressed with this shower chair and could not be more pleased.It is very sturdy/stable and offers great support. I like the fact that is so much more than just a shower stool or bench. It offers a back rest and two well padded side arms for extra support. It also has non slip rubber feet.It includes a booklet with easy to follow assembly instructions and images. It comes with all hardware, including the tightening tool for the bolts. It doesn’t take long to put together and can be completed by one person.As a bonus it also comes with a storage bag that hangs securely from one of the handrails. It’s roomy enough for a couple of shampoo/soap bottles. It also has a shower head clip if you have detachable shower head.It’s very easy to adjust the height; it uses the “clicking pinball” method and the pins are easy to push in so the poles slide smoothly.I really like the fact that it’s adjustable to the user in so many ways. The ability to convert it to your personal preference is awesome. For example, you can use with with or w/o the backrest, handrails, etc.Personally, I got this to take into the shower when I bathe my dogs. I love the optional back support and the fact I can opt to use only one of the handrails. I like the fact that I’m “free” on the opposite side to better/more efficiently get the job done.I did not apply the optional “cushions”. I like the contrasting look, but to me they are not really “cushions”, nor do they serve a practical purpose…IMO. But it’s simple enough to just forego them. :)This is a great shower chair and I highly recommend it. And this price point is fabulous for what you get. High quality and worth every penny.

After a recent illness, I was not able to stand at all for any length of time and this made taking a shower difficult. Fortunately, I came across this shower chair by Lemagalu and purchased it to use in the shower.The assembly of the chair is fairly straight-forward when following the enclosed instruction manual. However, I would recommend that the backrest posts be installed into the seat before the backrest is installed onto the backrest posts. The spring-loaded pins on the backrest posts are more difficult to push in together and slide in tandem into the positioning holes of the seat if the backrest is installed first.I decided not to install the cushions on the backrest or on the seat as the cushions can accumulate soap grime and other less than sanitary by products of a shower over time.The chair is fairly light at around 9 to 10 pounds and is easy to maneuver in and around the bathtub or shower. The seat is a bit wide but the chair can be used sideways in the bathtub to accommodate its width in narrow spaces. I love the padded armrests and that the padding extends along the front and rear curves of the armrests.The chair adjusts to five different heights and the user sits in an upright position when seated in the chair. As the backrest and seat are plastic and everything else is either metal or rubber-like, the chair is easy to clean and allowed to air dry after a shower.The rubber-like feet appear to be constructed well and are securely in place on each of the four leg posts.. They provide a stable footing for the chair and the user while it is being used.Overall, I am very happy with this shower chair and while I may not need to use it for a very long time, it is available whenever the need arises.
