I wanted a gentle cascade, the 12 year old exploded a hundred meteors across the kitchen
12 year old grand daughter was visiting when I received the delivery. Boy was she excited! “Grandma, can I put these up for you?” I accept any and all help from excited kids, so “Yes”.I gave her a vague description of how I wanted them on my kitchen cabinets, which is a cascade of stars from left to right. Start high on the left, go low to the right, last one RIGHT HERE. “Ok grandma!”Take dog for a walk, lovely summer day so we’re gone about half an hour. We return, and excited grand child is hopping up and down yelling to come look.A frigging meteor explosion happened. That’s what happened. Every single sticker in the package is now blissfully flying across every cabinet, the ceiling (she stood on the countertops), on my stove, and….well, you get the message.This is, uh, NOT the little cascade of about 15 stars I explained to her, apparently in the vaguest of terms. My little preteen went FULL GALAXY.Two days later, when she went home to the real parents, I had the joy of removing what felt like 12,915 stickers via fingernal scraping to avoid scratching up my cabinets. Ordered a second package to arrive before her next visit and started creating the lie I’d tell her for why her entire universe in my kitchen is now 15 to 20 stars gently cascading from high on the left to low on the right.She didn’t buy it. She saw it, I got the preteen glare of death. I still had a ton of stickers left (I only used 15 or so, remember?). and she has informed me that she has “plans” for where she’s putting them.I’m afraid to go to sleep.

They look cool
I cannot speak to how well they hold up over time but, they worked out well for exactly why I bought them. They are also difficult to get off when you mess them up, but this might be a sign that they are good quality and will last without peeling. I have plenty more to use as a backup. If that happens. I’m pleased!

They look wonderful in my babies nursery! Careful peeling the bigger ones as they can rip. Other than that, super easy to apply and sticks on quite well.

I love them so much! They are so cute. The gold is just the right color! Perfect size and easy to peel off and reapply if you want to move around or adjust. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is I have had to fix lifting on a few of them.

My ceiling in my foyer is flat Tricorn Black by Sherwin Williams. The beadboard walls are Pure White, and the door is Aleutian, also by SW. I just put these stars up and they look really cute.So far they are sticking fine. They peeled off from the backing ok, a little tricky on some of the bigger stars, you should peel more than one arm up at a time so you don’t tear into the star.I love the different sizes. At first I wasn’t sure I was going to use the traditional looking stars but I decided to put them all around the edge of the ceiling . I placed all the stars in a way where they look like they are shooting away from the star chandelier in the middle of the ceiling.I bought them for around $10-$15 and I think it was a great value!If anything negative happens, like peeling or bad durability, I will update the review.I uploaded several photos. The hanging star chandelier is also from Amazon, as are the little gold star lanterns, the golden mirror, and the locust hooks. Although the mirror was more of an antique brown when I bought it, I used rub and buff to make it gold. The locust hooks I also used rub and buff on, they were originally pewter. The long runner rug is also from Amazon but it is not my favorite. It sheds a lot and often gets wiggly with all the foot traffic. As soon as we put our flooring down the rug will be donated!The giant moon and the “well behaved children welcome, the rest will be made into pies” sign I painted, you can find them on my Etsy shop Painted Lady Signs. If you are so inclined to look!I love the stars and I’m glad I finally got them up!

This is what I wanted, but I only give it 4 stars because I was sure the light would reflect on it but it’s not the case. The rest is perfect
