They’re the start of your creativity!
I’ve bought these 3 times, I love them so much. And I can create the patterns of how I have them on the wall. I ended up combining two sets in my bedroom and one set in my living room. The hardest part about having these is whether I should buy more! Having these shelves has also helped me display my knick backs in one place without taking up counter space that I need otherwise.

Extremely Weak Wood (on purpose). The white wall anchors were not needed for me.
I used these to free up more space in my pantry that did not have shelves pre-installed or available. While the shelves are a bit small, they hold a good amount of things when properly installed (make sure they are level and brackets are fully drilled/screwed into the wall and the wood). The wood is very weak, likely because the company didn’t want heavy wooden shelves with basic L brackets because the cost for both the consumer and the producer would be very high. You could probably karate chop it in half if you tried, but as long as the brackets are evenly spaced out on the wood, you shouldn’t have many problems. These shelves could probably hold around 10 or more lbs (evenly distributed, otherwise they might bust out of the brackets and fall down). Very simple installation (I started using the wall anchors before I realized I was better off just using the screws because the wall anchors created massive holes…and I rent…oops.).

It works but … cheap wood. Light duty
The shelves work. How could they not? They are wood-like material and brackets and screws — hard to mess that up. But the material is really light, like balsa. On one hand, no need to drill starter holes. On the other, it is so soft that one of the screw holes stripped. I think it might actually be wood — usually the compressed sawdust fake wood is much heavier — but it is cheap stuff. This works for knick-knacks and light stuff but I would not use for any heavy duty purpose.
