great bottle warmer– far superior to the AVENT one!!
This is a very good bottle warmer. We originally had the Philips AVENT Express Food and Bottle Warmer, and the Boon Orb Bottle Warmer is FAR superior to it. The Boon heats up the bottle according to the amount of water you put in it. Once that water evaporates, the light turns off, indicating that the bottle is done. With the AVENT bottle warmer, the length of time the bottle is heated appears to be determined by an internal timer. The amount of water you put in it has nothing to do with how long the bottle is warmed. So there’s more flexibility with the Boon to warm the bottle just as much as you want (the AVENT has only a few settings). The other thing I like so much better about the Boon is that when the light goes off, the unit is off. You do not also have to remember to flip a switch (on the BACK!), like you do with the AVENT. Back when we were using the AVENT bottle warmer, I can’t tell you how many times I found myself in bed, about to drift off to sleep after feeding my baby his bottle and putting him back to bed, only to jolt awake because I couldn’t remember if I’d turned off the AVENT bottle warmer. There’s no way around it — at that point, you simply have to get up and check. Irrespective of whether you really did leave it on, you’re still up all over again — and who needs an extra night wakening when you have a baby in the house? And there were absolutely times when we did leave the AVENT on, and did not realize it until literally hours later — which always made me extremely uncomfortable, because that’s clearly got to be a fire hazard.Of note, neither bottle warmer has any kind of auditory signal indicating that the bottle is done. But that’s really the only area for improvement I can think of for the Boon Orb Bottle Warmer.

Best warmer EVER!
This is hands down the best warmer! We had the Tommee Tippee because we use those bottles (Anti-colic) and the Avent Naturals line. These are both wider bottles so we assumed that would be the best warmer. However, it was a bloody mess! It heats water in the reservoir which is supposed to then heat the milk. Not so! Plus, the bottles would always float up and tip over. Not a snug fit, even with their own brand. We bought this based on another reviewer indicating that the Tommee Tippee bottles would fit, if a little snugly. This warmer uses steam, has an auto shut-off and an “on” button which allows it to stay plugged in. The steam heats far more evenly, and unlike the other reviewer, we have yet to get a bottle stuck. I find that it takes very little time to fully warm up and we rarely get to the crying stage when she’s hungry. Plus, it just looks snazzy in our green and purple accessorized kitchen!

Great product, silly instructions
The basic principle with this bottle warmer is that once you add water to the plugged-in warmer it immediately heats up the water to boiling, immersing the bottle in a steam bath, until the water is gone, at which point it automatically shuts off. This functionality works great and is easy to use. However the means to measure the water is a small vial that comes with markings from 2 – 8 (but which do not correspond to actual measurements or fixed increments of volume). It makes no sense (2×4 does not equal 8), and is overly complicated using different combinations for glass, plastic, widemouth, breast milk, formula, etc. There are several ways this could be improved – maybe include multiple vials or use separate markings on different sides for glass, plastic, and widemouth bottles labeled with the actual number of ounces being heated) – or even just by using real measurements so that one could easily convert between amounts instead of fussing with filling the vial up several times to get the right amount. The other “glitch” is that the user is instructed to wait 10 minutes between uses (maybe to avoid steam burns if pouring hot water into an already hot chamber?). With twin boys on the same feeding schedule that obviously wasn’t happening and I did not see any ill effects. Do so at your own risk, obviously. Our boys were not particularly fussy so I found that for a 4 oz feeding I just needed to use about a “6” on the vial to get their formula or breast milk to an acceptable temperature and I warmed up many bottles back to back with no problems.

Boon Warmer Vs. Dr. Brown’s Warmer
After having a Dr. Brown’s bottle warmer for 5 months, I noticed a terrible odor coming from it, and looked inside to see that it was full of mold. So, I ordered the Boon Orb Bottle Warmer to replace it. From the first use, I could see a huge difference in both the ease of use, and the quality of the Boon compared to Dr. Brown’s. I like the modern style, and the small size of the Boon. It warms more quickly than the Dr. Brown bottle warmer, and doesn’t have the potential to grow mold like the Dr. Brown version, since the water does not sit in the warmer between uses. It’s really not a big deal to put water into the warmer each time you use it, especially if you keep the warmer near the sink. This is a very well-thought-out product, and I would buy it again. I will be recommending this to all my friends with small children.

You need to try this bottle warmer!
I bought this bottle warmer for my daughter in law for use with my new grandson’s bottles. The Boon Orb is small and works great! It takes a little longer to warm the liquid if it has been refrigerated. (Ex. Pumped breast milk stored in the refrigerator). The design is cleaver with the water measure located on the back of the unit. I will share that the instructions that come with the bottle warmer are not the best. However, we found a YouTube video to watch that was most helpful. My daughter in law uses the warmer frequently and is happy with the efficiency and ease of use. The Boon Orb Bottle Warmer is priced so that it is affordable and works as good – if not better – than higher priced warmers.

Increíble producto y muy práctico. Calienta la leche en 1 minuto y se apaga solo. Muy fácil se usar y se ve lindo en el cuarto de mi bebé. Aún no lo he usado para papillas.

Boon is always outdoing itself with the unique designs. Have it for a year and it is still working properly. Very convenient to use. Bit of water goes inside and with a click of a button water almost boils in less than 30 second, so bottle gets warmed up very fast. I was thinking to sell it already on kijiji, since my children are already toddlers however I used it once in a car just to warm up juice and it worked like a charm. Basically I will keep it int he car now to warm up drinks or baby food for kids.

Funciona bien solo que a veces se te pasa la mano y el biberon se calienta demasiado. En general cumple su objetivo y el costo no es tan elevado.

Best bottle warmer ever!! When making my decision between the Boon and Philips advent bottle warmer I went with the Boon for the automatic shut off. Which was a good choice. I don’t have to stand waiting at the bottle warmer checking over and over the temperature of the bottle. While it’s warming up I can change a diaper and soothe a hungry baby. I’m very impressed with this product and it’s simplicity. And it looks so good on my counter. I would purchase again in a heart beat if I had to.

Quick warming, simple to use, looks stylish on my counter. Bottles get a bit hot when it’s first finished but milk is warm. I always just wipe the bottle down to ensure no hot droplets get on my baby. Only thing I don’t like is you have to add water with each use. But most warmers are like that. I’m happy with my purchase and would recommend this warmer to others.
